We need some input from you please!
As you may know, several members have told us they struggle driving at night in poorly lit areas, and choose not to come to The Chequers Inn each month as it’s in a very rural area. This was discussed at some length at the AGM back in January.
We now have the option to choose a different venue for our monthly meets, which will start taking place again after the summer. Can I please ask you for your input?
We have been offered two different venues:
Appley Manor in Ryde
Goddards Brewery in Branstone
Please let me know which of these you would prefer, or if you have any other suggestions where we could meet. Ideally the venue needs to have good parking, accessible from main roads (avoiding very rural lanes etc), and be happy for us to come along for drinks. Somewhere central on the island would be good, but we can consider other options. All ideas gratefully received!
